I have never worked with Ready-to-Use Rolled Fondant before. I purchased a Neon Colored Multi Pack and a small white fondant rolling pin recently to give it a try. Tonight I did not want to pile on the icing for tomorrow's coffee hour because it would have required me to make two batches. I piped a normal amount of frosting on each cupcake and decorated each cupcake with small fondant flowers and an M & M. The fondant was very easy to use and rolled out nice and smooth. I am not sure how to make my own but it must not be too complicated. I hope the kids like these spring inspired cupcakes tomorrow.
